From the bottom of the park below Sacre Coeur you can stand at the end of the block full of fabric shops and as you look up the hill you take in the commuters, shoppers, sunbathers, athletes, souvenir sellers, and tourists. Then right at the top, the actual church-goers. When we stay in Montmartre I spend a lot of time in this area.
