The Montparnasse train station is where you take a train back to Brittany. Several times we have stayed in hotels nearby for convenience, but it turns out the neighborhood has a lot going on. Saturday mornings there is an excellent street market that sells all kinds of fresh vegetables, cheeses, olives, fish — a symphony of abundance.
