Rue du Calvaire is one of those long and steep stairways in Montmartre. The restaurant below was called Chez Marie when I drew this. Now it’s called L’Artiste. After the Covid lockdowns it may be called something else. But it persists, a classy little restaurant in this lovely old neighborhood.
